Tasting Notes:
As you taste this Penetration, black cherries dominate followed by an elegant smoky and barrel toast finish. Black currant and dark cherry invite the nose to linger only to discover hints of clove and praline. Substantial tannins are present but not overpowering in this full-bodied red wine.
Food Pairings:
Garlic and herb-marinated lamb chops grilled to a perfect medium-rare, served with a tangy chimichurri sauce and wild rice pilaf.
